TOLL BROTHERS NAVAL SQUARE - 19146

Naval Square, located at 24th & Bainbridge Streets, opened its doors in 1834, and was the first home of the U.S. Naval Academy as well as the country’s first retirement home for sailors and marines. The name changed to Naval Square in 1889.

In 1971, Naval Square was added onto the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Landmark. After the Naval Home was relocated to Gulfport, Mississippi in 1976, the facility was closed BUT not for long!
